AGL vs MSL was created by pedrocreal
Hi all,
I get the feeling that the cloud base in FSrealWX is usually quite low. Is it possible that it is being rendered AMSL instead of AGL?
as far as I know, Metar content refers to AGL.
Thanks!

but I did not notice any problems, it is necessary to conduct additional tests
P.S airport elevation is contained in the wx database: www.fsrealwx.de/index.php/forum/bug-repo...t-many-airports#2644
Cheers!

If you find an error, then please give me exactly about your system. Which sim (FSX / P3D / Xplane). Which connection (FSUIPC / SimConnect / FSrealWX-Bridge). Which OS.

@pedrocreal
Can you describe it in more detail next time? When, where and metar.
Usually FSrealWX calculates the cloud heights with AGL

This was in HKJK. the airport is at about 5300 ft, and the reported clouds were at 3400ft. If AGL, that would be 8000is feet. As you can see by that cloud at the end of the runway it seems FSrealWX is generating the cloud at the wrong height...
thanks for having a look
