Turbulence in XPlane 10

Hey Guys,

I experience no Clear Air Turbulence and no Turbulence when flying though clouds at all. The experience is way too smooth for me. Does Turbulence only occur when reported by metar?
This is not realistic. There should be some random turbulence in clear air as well, especially when flying at daytime and the sun heats the surface up.

I bought this software to replace the free NOAA plug-in which caused some stability issues. So far FSRealWX Pro runs like a charm, but I miss all those turbulences that the free NOAA plug-in created so realistically!

Is this a bug or is there any setup I screwed up? I marked all relevant check boxes, but the weather is so synthetic and not natural. All winds are perfectly stabile like in an aerodynamic laboratory.

I'll keep on testing, maybe I only passed extremely stable air masses so far...

Regards,
Marc

Edit 1:
Nice, I've just observed the minor turbulences during departure!
I'll keep watching for more - maybe I've been too lucky having good weather?

Edit 2:
Wow, just had a very thrilling approch at GCTS: Pretty gusty with strong turbulences. I am sorry - obviously I judged a bit too early about missing features etc.!
Maybe I'll have some clear air turbulence too some time. BTW: I am using v. 2.03.502 beta - stable and nice using Windows 10 64bit in a remote configuration.
