FSX crashes

Had three crashes in FSX at various times when I first started to use the product. Since then it appears to have become stable.

Is there any reason why the beta version starts in administrator mode?

Also, what is the difference between this beta version and the Lite version?

I really only need the weather as I use other software for my flight planning and control.
