occasionally wx not transferring to FSX

FSX on Windows 10, FSRealWX V3.01.1679

Been running fine for a couple of weeks, now occasionally wont update wx in FSX.

When selecting Connect, FSRealWX connects okay and connected message shows up in FSX screen.
Lower left of FSRealWX screen says "wait for connection to FS"
No data in Data screen or all "0"
Below data screen
"Weather not downloaded Job: 1
"Weather update in 0 sec" FSX - FSUIPC + SimConnect

Selecting "Download WX" causes weather to be downloaded but still waiting for connection, other info same as above.
Tried re-booting both FSX and FSRealWX ... no effect.

Changing location of aircraft to a distant airport usually fixes the problem, but then it will happen again next time at the same airport -- problem shown at KDOV and KEWR, NO problem when relocated to KASH. Later back to KDOV with same problem. Problem also shows up trying to start FSRealWX occasionally when aircraft is in the air and moving.
