Interpolation

Part of the flight plan I was flying today took me over water off the north-east coast of Australia.
After a while FSrealWX Pro announced there was "no metar station in the vicinity" and cleared the weather completely.
Would it not be possible to interpolate the weather from adjacent stations so the transition would feel more realistic?

Same question - Is there any way to get anything but all clear in "remote" areas?

I was only 65 mi from the nearest METAR last flight and it loads clear only until I get closer to a station.
