New beta version problem

I tried using the new beta version. it always comes up and states cannot write file to FS.I therefore get no weather. I switched back to the non beta version and all is back to working. Just thought I'd relate the problem. It was being run with the same settings as the non beta version. I also run it as an administrator in Win 7. Hope this will help in some way.

I have the same issue

After installing the new betaversion, it worked OK until I choose to use a default weather team. The P3D sim stopped working when I choose a weatherteam except 'Clear weather'. Afther that the V2 betaversion made the P3D to stop. Uninstalled the betaversion and wendt back to the old version 1.06. Using the old version works, but the default weathet teams still aborts the P3D.

Hi, I'm having the same error "Can not write File to FS" immediately after the progress bar gets to 100% when "Generating Weather 402 from 402".

This is with the latest beta, using FSX on Windows 8.1.

Do you have entered the path to the FS under "Options->Interface"?

I went back to the previous version so I don't have the beta on at the moment. However when it was I never entered the path. So if you had to I'd venture a guess that no it wasn't . Might regive it a shot and see. Thanks for the info!

I was missing that setting...can't believe I didn't see it, sorry!
