A few problems with version 2.00.62 Beta

After installing the latest version (2.00.62 Beta) I encountered a few problems:

1. A couple of days ago, I tried to start a flight from Skiathos, Greece (LGSK), and FSRealWX crashed five times in a row. Even after a complete restart of PC, FSRealWX and FSX, it still crashed. I then switched back to the old FSRealWX Lite version and there was no problem at all. The log showed nothing of interest (as far as I can see), see attached file 1.
I tried again today and FSRealWXPro did work at LGSK (weather source was LGBL, some 30NM from LGSK).

2. I have noticed a couple of times that not all the weather phenomena 'make it' into FSX. Sometimes it is the temperature (defaulting to 15C, instead of the 3 or 4C shown in the METAR data), sometimes cloud coverage, sometimes the wind.
Today it was the wind, see attached file 2.
DWC target is 76.9/5.6, FSX shows 356/0.

3. The 'Average Wind' in the Flight Planner tab is 180 degrees off.
When all the high altitude winds are between 220 and 230, the average direction is shown as 42. That can't be right.

4. Yesterday, the 'Average Wind' showed up as 'nan/nan' (sorry, I didn't think to make a screenshot). Probable cause was the high altitude wind being 'n/a' at one of the waypoints. So far, no real problem.
However when I came close to that waypoint, the wind just 'disappeared' to reappear near the next waypoint! I would have expected either FSRealWX to reject dramatically deviating weather parameters like that, or for DWC to smooth them out.
As it was I collided with a wall of (un)moving air twice. Didn't rip off my wings, though.

5. I think the occasional flickering in the sky near the zenith has improved, but it's not yet gone completely.

6. Reconnecting FSRealWX to FSX after an FSX crash (program crash that is, not a plane crash) does not work when using Auto-Mode. Switch Auto-Mode off and it does.

That's it so far.
Don't hesitate to ask for more info, if you need to.

Regards,

Paul

Please send me the FSrealwx.log files.
Thanks

If you find an error, then please give me exactly about your system. Which sim (FSX / P3D / Xplane). Which connection (FSUIPC / SimConnect / FSrealWX-Bridge). Which OS.

Hello FSreal WX team,

I go on trying version 2.00.62 Beta Under all it's aspects - but intuitive search is not that easy (Aircraft editor, load editor) - at my opinion a manual will be very welcome.

I also experienced problems n° 1, 2 and described by Paul in his report beneath.

Yesterday: two "run out of memory" during a flight with B737 NG PMDG between Lyon and Brussels - I stopped V2 and put previous version for challenging real landing conditions with the storm we had yesterday 14 in the evening in Brussels and previous version worked perfectly.

I send you the log files by mail.

Thanks for all your support and work for developping a program in which I beleive :)

Kind regards

Richard

Problem #1 struck again today. This time I was starting the flight from EGPE - Inverness and FSRealWX crashed three times in a row. I then started FS RealWX Lite and everything was fine again, no problem at all. Log files attached (I hope all of them :( )

As for problem #3, today I discovered that the average wind direction actually is correct. The problem is that the window showing the average wind is too small, resulting in the first digit or digits (depending on how many there are) will not be shown. As the high altitude winds over the last days averaged around 230 - 240 degrees, it LOOKED as if the figure was wrong by 180 degrees.
Sorry for setting you on the wrong track .......

Darn, no log files again ('extension not allowed').
Changed the extension to .txt and try again .....
