Historical Weather Is Incomplete

If you find an error, then please give me exactly about your system. Which sim (FSX / P3D / Xplane). Which connection (FSUIPC / SimConnect / FSrealWX-Bridge). Which OS.

Brilliant, thank you very much!

Checked now, couldn't find any airport not covered by historical weather. Both NOAA and Vatsim work!

Thank you a lot

Sorry for bothering you again, but I still have the issue with historic weather.

FSrealWX loads historic weather for all stations and display its METAR ok. But it does not load that weather into FS for those airports which were not available before. Instead some static weather with station code 'LAND' is loaded. That 'LAND' weather does not change for a given airport no matter which date you use.

I use FS9.

How to reproduce this issue:
1. Load FS9 and go to UUDD airport
2. Load historic weather for 06 May 2020 13:00 (other date and time would work too).
3. Check METAR for UUDD. It will show:
UUDD 061230Z 13004MPS 9999 -SHRA BKN033CB 15/13 Q1003 R14R/290045 NOSIG
TAF UUDD 090755Z 0909/1015 36005MPS 9999 BKN016 TX15/1012Z TN08/1003Z TEMPO 0909/0918 36008G13MPS 3100 -SHRA FEW005 BKN016CB TEMPO 0918/1006 -RA FEW003 BKN016 TEMPO 1008/1015 34008G15MPS
(Note: I downloaded Vatsim weather here but NOAA weather has the same issue).
4. Set WX. Flight Simulator and FSrealWX will report:
LAND 061200Z 150189KT 30KM OVC000 15/01 Q1013
This weather will be loaded to FS - which is far from expected as per METAR shown at step 3.

Played little bit more with historical weather for UUDD and perhaps some points above are not true.

For some dates FSrealWX does report airport metar instead of LAND, but it fails to load it anyway, For example, for 15/4 12:00 it shows both in FSrealWX and FS:
UUDD 151130Z 28006MPS 240V310 9999 BKN042 05/M05 Q0999 R32L/190050 NOSIG

But it loads clear sky to FS instead of broken clouds at 4200ft

There is definitely a problem with weather in FS9, but I am not sure anymore it is about Eastern European airports or even historical weather (got the same issue for online weather as well).

I had the same issue with weather in FS for EGGD - weather in FS did not match METAR in FSrealWX. In that case FS just had default weather (clear sky, no wind, +15C).

Looking at planes gauges while fsrealwx was loading weather to FS, I noticed that at some point temperature got set to the one in METAR for EGGD, but in a second or two it was reset to +15 .

Finally I have found a workaround. I changed "Weather Mode-Range" parameter in Settings it to 80 NM, so fsrealwx set weather for fewer stations. Then I finally got my weather in FS. Not sure if there is a limit of the weather stations you can set in FS9 which was exceeded with larger weather range, or there is a problem with fsrealwx itself.

Tried FSRealWX Lite and it has the same bug. It is therefore not historical weather issue but a general problem with weather updates.

To recap, the bug is that weather is not transmitted to MSFS 2004 in some circumstances. Instead it resets weather station to default (+15C, no winds, no clouds).
Apparently it happens when there are too many stations to update in the radius set in options.
For example, when I load in EGGD and l update weather using NOAA within radius of 200NM, some 200 stations are updated (interestingly this number is slightly different every time). Looking at thermometer gauge on the plane's panel, I see that temperature is correctly updated to what is in METAR, but as further stations are loaded the temperature in EGGD is suddenly reset to +15C.
In contrast, when using VATSIM there are only around 40 stations to update. In this case EGGD weather is set correctly and not reset.

It looks like there is a limit of the number of stations which could be set in MSFS2004. I never came across any limit in MSFS itself, so presume it's something in FSRealWX?
